Okay, so it’s Sunday night and you’re craving food from your favorite spot. Let’s say it’s a pizza place and you always spend $25 there for “the usual”.
Did you know you could be missing out on getting food from that spot cheaper? So you’ve googled for coupons and didn’t find any but wait, there’s other ways.
First, check Restaurant.com and see if they’re listed there. Usually you can find $25 food coupons for only $10. If not on there, check GrubHub.com, Seamless.com, Delivery.com, or any local site similar to these. If you find them on these sites, Google for coupons to these sites to find further deals.
If you do find them on Restaurant.com, make sure to use the Ultimate Rewards portal with your Chase Sapphire Preferred Card. Right now they’re offering a 15x bonus on every dollar spent at Restaurant.com.
So you were just going to spend $25 there originally, now you could be getting the same food from the same place for $15 cheaper and an extra 150 points in UR rewards towards your next trip.
If not and you decide to just eat at the establishment, don’t forget to use the Chase Freedom Card to get 5x the points there. Also, if you’re interested in extra miles… AAdvantage Dining and United Mileage Plus are programs that linked with their respective frequent flyer programs, rewards you miles just for linking your credit cards and spending money at the restaurants the way you normally would. (At participating restaurants) Note: You can create these accounts for free and there’s no obligation for purchase.
This is just another simple thing during your daily routine that will help keep more money in your own pocket and help you get to your next free vacation faster. Read more rewards hacks here.
